How To Hire A New Employer

You’d face no competition from other candidates, get personally referred to hiring decision makers and deliver a knock-out interview pitch that had employers eating out of your hand.

So, here's the key question: is it possible to turn this theoretical dream into a practical reality? I'm happy to tell you that the answer is a big YES – but only if you decide to implement a perfect work-search strategy.

With that quick, affirmative answer out of the way, let’s unpack these ideas by summarising the headline features of this strategy.

  • You’d start off by discovering some exciting and lucrative employment opportunities before anyone else that are perfectly suited to your talents, skillsets and ambitions, and with high-quality employers of course
  • You’d totally eliminate all of the competition from other job applicants and become the only person being considered for the position of your choice
  • You’d get personally introduced to influential company insiders, people who urgently need your particular skills and have the authority to employ you on the spot
  • You’d seize the immediate attention of hiring decision makers by engineering personal referrals to hard-to-meet recruiters and interviewers
  • You’d take charge of any kind of job interview, deliver a supremely-effective and highly-persuasive hiring pitch that electrifies any employer
  • You’d negotiate a top salary package from a position of true power and strength
  • You’d be in complete control of every key decision and action you take during the entire job hunt, which would inevitably allow you to assert agency over every aspect of your working life

Job hunting can be tough at the best of times. If you follow the herd instinct by doing what nearly everyone else does, by choosing to adopt conventional job-hunting strategies, it’s even tougher. In today’s hyper-competitive employment market, this is particularly the case if you want to get hired by a reputable employer to do well-paid, secure and genuinely fulfilling work.
